|  | Trump Golf GM, Dan Scavino Awarded Top 40 Under 40 2-29-2008 At the age of 32, Dan Scavino is the General Manager of a 5 Star Club known around the world, and he has just been awarded the Top Forty Under Shaker Award by the Greater Southern Dutchess Chamber of Commerce. The program recognizes 40 people under the age of 40 who have made remarkable strides in the community, have a vision for the region’s business future, are business savvy beyond their years and have the passion to take the risks to make their dreams happen. Scavino resides in Hopewell Junction, New York with his wife Jennifer who he met in college, at Plattsburgh State University. Jennifer has been employed by Eli Lilly & Company for the past ten years. They have two sons, Ethan and Justin. After wrapping up college, and completing a six month internship with The Walt Disney World Company in Orlando, Florida, Scavino officially started his career in 1998, working for Coca-Cola. He held three positions in four years, and moved quickly up the corporate ladder. In 2003 Scavino left Coca-Cola to join a pharmaceutical company, Galderma Labs located in Fort Worth, Texas, where he was given a tremendous opportunity to work locally in the New York market. Trump National Golf Club was well represented in the 85th Journal News Westchester Open with Assistant Golf Professionals John Guyton and Mike Rinker along with amateur Andrew Giuliani competing. John Guyton’s first round 70 was good enough to make the cut while Giuliani and Rinker shot 76 and 77 respectively.
